Starting winter semester 2008/2009, the RWTH will offer the interdisciplinary master's program automation engineering.\\
\\
Along with the Faculty 1, the Chair of Computer Science 11 will mainly be responsible for organization and teaching activities. Further participating chairs will be the Institute for Control Engineering (Faculty 4)and the Chair of Process Control Engineering (Faculty 5).\\
