Embedded Software at the Helmholtz Symposium 2015

Our chair participated on this years “Helmholtz-Symposium Aachen on Biomedical Engineering and Related Fields” at the Universitätsklinikum Aachen with current state of research in our projects “ECLA-VENT” and “Sterile Hands”. Focus of the event were biomaterials and personal healthcare to support medical personal by further automation. Our two projects based on embedded systems fit into this area of research – we present a system for extracorporeal lung assistance adapting to the patient’s condition and a system for hygiene management in hospitals.
