Spring Colloquium 2022
Between 13.06. and 15.06.2022, our scientific staff presented and discussed current research results during our spring colloquium in beautiful Möderscheid in Belgium. In addition, we discussed strategies for a modern external presentation of the Chair and spent a creative break while hiking in the High Fens. Once again, it became clear how important and indispensable the meetings and exchanges on site are for a motivating social life at the chair.
Logo competition 50 years of computer science - enter now!
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aachen Computer Science, a festive week with many events will take place in September. Under which motto? Here you are asked! Until 31 March 2022, proposals for logos and mottos can be submitted to pfannschmidt@embedded.rwth-aachen.de. A selection of current submissions can be seen above. The winner will be chosen by the organising committee.
You can win a VIP invitation to the ceremony - the highlight of the anniversary week on 09.09.2022 - and a surprise. The first ten entries will also receive an invitation to a barbecue on the sunny terrace of our chair.
We look forward to many creative submissions!
1st Place at the Carolo-Basic-Cup
The Team GalaXIs won first place at this year's Carolo-Basic-Cup by a clear margin. The competition is open to international student teams with self-developed automated model vehicles.
The team won both the static and dynamic disciplines in the competition. A total of 6 teams from all over Germany took part. The competition was held in an at-home format due to the Corona pandemic, where the teams had to solve various tasks and document them in a video entry. We congratulate the team, consisting of the students Maximilian Lüer, Pharath Palesuvaran, David Klüner and Rüdiger Erdweg.
